𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐒𝐔 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 2023 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬
𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐒𝐔 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 2023 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬

After a 3-year hiatus, Bulacan State University sprang back to life with the kick-off of the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 2023. The campus bustled with energy and enthusiasm, echoing the bright theme, "Palarong Pampamantasan 2023: Balik Saya, Buong Sigla, Sa Bagong Simula."
The opening ceremony started with a lively parade with student athletes from different colleges and 𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀, including Meneses, Sarmiento, Hagonoy, San Rafael and Bustos. Each showcased their energy and school pride, as different banners and decorations added to the vibrant energy of the university.
To commence the 'Palarong Pampamantasan 2023', the torch lighting ceremony was carried out, led by Rhealyn Mirandilla, the gold medalist in High Jump and Relays at NSCUAA 2023. The 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀' oath after was delivered by Patrick Salceno, an athlete representing NSCUAA 2023.
The presence of BulSU President Teody San Andre added encouragement to the BulSU athetes and the entire 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗦𝗨 community, as he initiated the symbolic act of the opening of prominent festivities at the 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗦𝗨 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 by leading the ceremonial ball toss, a meaningful gesture that embodies the spirit of sportsmanship.
From October 16-20, 2023, various 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 competition will take place, showcasing the diverse talents of BulSU's student-athletes. These include 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹, volleyball, beach volleyball, taekwando, chess, badminton, archery, esport, table tennis, sepak takraw, arnis, and athletics.
Aside from this, this Intramurals also include a 𝗛𝗶𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗽-𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 Competition wherein the College of Arts and Letters' Chicken Spread showcased their killer moves and ignite the stage with their synchronous choreography, resulting to be hailed as this year's 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.
For the Mr. and Ms. Intramurals, it was an intense face-off at the Valencia as all of the 18 pairs who represented their universities' different colleges and campuses showed glamor and style. Mr. Aaron Paul Francisco of the College of Information and Communication Technology (CICT) and Ms. Jessa Lunar of the College of Education (COED) were crowned as this year's 𝗠𝗿. 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 2023.
John Paul Dela Pena, representing the College of Business Administration and Ara Pineda from the College of Hospitality and Management became the first runner-up title in the event.
As the Intramurals keep on rolling, the theme of "Palarong Pampamantasan 2023: Balik Saya, Buong Sigla, sa Bagong Simula" calls for everyone to enjoy the sports, face challenges with energy, and look forward to new beginnings. The BulSU community is ready to make Intramurals 2023 a celebration of resilience, spirit, and excellence after three years.
